SJ Williams

SJ is a longtime designer whose career includes work with Bloomingdale’s, Estée Lauder, and Martha Stewart. After 30 years in NYC, she relocated to Hudson in 2011, launching the gallery culture + commerce project to spotlight regional makers. Passionate about local history, architecture, and community, she’s collaborated with organizations like The Hudson Business Coalition, The Prison Public Memory Project, and The Hudson Eye. SJ currently serves as a Trustee of the Hudson Area Library.

Charlie Ferrusi

Charlie Ferrusi is a public health professional, political organizer, and social justice advocate. He holds degrees in health education and public health from SUNY Brockport, NYU, and Stony Brook, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Charlie is a Project Manager at Columbia University’s Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, Vice Chair of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood’s Board, and a founding board member of OutHudson. For over a decade, he’s worked to eliminate health disparities and advance equity for LGBTQ+ communities and people living with HIV through advocacy, public health, and grassroots organizing.

Kit Ballum Cohen

Kit is a designer, creative director, activist, and parent. They have over 25 years of experience in brand development and digital media for socially, culturally, and community-driven organizations. Kit’s personal initiatives advocate for trans youth, queer families, and their communities. They’ve been in the Hudson area since 2014 and currently live in Germantown.

Wyatt Welles

Wyatt is a proud Hudson local and raging homosexual. Professionally, he is an award winning graphic designer and founder/creative director of multidisciplinary creative studio and antique shop, the Studio Grand. Before his decade-long career as a designer & copywriter, he founded an experimental theater company which produced original theatrical adaptations and community events around New England and New York. As a full time Hudson resident since 2022, Wyatt is committed to advancing queer celebration, dialogue, and visibility within our small but mighty community.

Miyagi Scott

Miyagi brings over five years of experience as a mentor and leader in the LGBTQ+ community and foster system. He is the co-founder of Queer Outdoor Adventures to invite other members of the community to engage with the natural world. With a passion for visual arts, technology, and eco-friendly initiatives, he supports and empowers marginalized individuals, encouraging them to take an active role in their communities.

Kate Warren
Kate is an independent artist and educator with 15 years of experience in photography, arts, media, and marketing, working with clients that include the New York Times, New Yorker, Planned Parenthood, Marble House Project, and the Smithsonian.
She co-founded the LGBTQ+ artist residency Golden Kin, works as Editorial and Outreach Director of local non-profit Toolshed, and is the Central New York Pride Parade Co-Director.
